I mean yes, he is the origin of the company and certainly have stunning management & scientist skills but we shouldn't forget that he is not alone and this video is the result of thousands of passionated people working together. | Alexandra Kaidan-Berry 3 | : | Sorry for the long comment : ) I divide billionaire companies into two categories. There is the Dark Side, and there is The Force. The Dark Side will make a profit at the expense of others without the respect to human life, think Walmart, and Martin Shkreli. Then there is The Force. The Force's main priority is innovation, and the betterment of humanity. I think of Google, and Elon Musk;s companies. Sometimes I feel I am betraying myself to love these companies because I am still a socialist at heart. I believe government should always provide free medical care, and welfare to the needy. It would be coldly inhumane not to provide life saving resources to those who desperately need it. But I also think these genius companies are excelling the growth of life saving technologies. Elon Musk has always been about green energy, and Google has made knowledge accessible to everyone. In the end, life isn't about making a profit, if it was humanity wouldn't survive in a dog eat dog world. Humanity should always come first, and that's what these ethical companies do. Good for them if they make a profit preserving life. Good triumphs over evil. Now I am beginning to feel less guilty about being a bit of a capitalist. I am looking forward to The Hyperloop. I can't stand Amtrak. I bet there won't be much difference in price, ha! : ) Amtrak has ridiculous prices for what they offer. This was a long comment, let it fade into the internet abyss. |
